Northland does well in Bragato awards
September 2005
Reflecting the excellent 2004 vintage Northland wines were awarded 3 gold medals at the Bragato Wine Awards.
Carrington - the golf resort and winery on the Karikari Peninsula - won gold for 2004 Pinotage, 2004 Merlot/Malbec/ Cab Sav under their Karikari Estate label.
Marsden Estate, which has a history of award winning Chardonnays, again won Gold this time for their 2004 Black Rocks Chardonnay.
Carrington also won a Silver medal for their 2004 Cabernet Merlot.
